Welcome to Winter !

Enhance curb appeal in the autumn and winter months without breaking the bank!

1.First thing, get rid of the cobwebs that are probably all over your front porch because for some reason they love it there!

2. Second change all the light bulbs in the front that illuminate your home even if they are not burnt out so they last all through winter and you won't have to climb on a ladder afterwards and possibly fall and break a limb due to the ice that will eventually form on the porch.

3. Thirdly, get rid of the old cocoa mat and go to the hardware store and get those heavy non-slip rubber mats (they come in various shades and sizes) and make it a safe stairway for everyone.

4.Fourthly, DO not put the pots away! replant them with winter foliage that comprises of branches, red currant ,and green foliage, pine is best, that will give a rich look to your front porch. enhance your curb appeal and last all through winter without any maintenance whatsoever.

And lastly get plenty of fake salt, the white one that looks like pebbles, I happen to like it because it doesn't ruin the stone, or anytipe of finishing on the ground and it melt the ice really well. You can also get sand and salt, but you will end up dragging it into the house and its hard to clean once its inside.

Cheers!

Brush Strokes

Ever wished you could make you living space more interesting and lively without spending a small fortune? Well there are many interesting ways to go about it. A fun approach is one that takes a little imagination and a few supplies from the art store. There are hundreds if not to say thousands of painting by famous artists that can inspire you to create your own art and create a more interesting space that will reflect your personality. However, If art making is not your forté, you can get fabulous reproductions or giclés from upscale framers and galleries. One more thing, make sure that they are on canvas so that your friends think that your newly acquired piece of art cost you a small fortune or that you just inherited it from a rich uncle!

Happy Art Hunting!

4 Simple Rules

Simple rules steps in choosing the right real Estate Broker:

1. Speak to neighbors, family, and friends about Brokers that they may have had positive dealings with. Check out which brokers and agencies are active in your neighborhood.

2. Interview more than one broker. Choose an agent that you are comfortable with and that you have confidence in. Remember that your broker represents you in the negotiations leading to the sale of you home, and that he/she should accomplish this with the least amount of difficulties in the shortest time frame.

3. If brokers make you promises that seem to good to be true, they probably are. A good market analysis should enable you to determine a fair price for your home.

4. A broker should represent his vendor through to the completion of the transaction, from the signing of the brokerage contract to the signing of the act of sale.

Make a Move!

Vendors often demand a certain price in order to get the maximum out of a buyer, most likely not taking into consideration what the real estate market price should be. If its love at first site, make a move! Don't hesitate on making an offer and don't wait. Even though you feel like the price isn't in your budget, you never know where a vendor is ready to settle. Worst case scenario, they will most likely counter and want to entertain a promise to purchase! So go for it, make the move because by the time you make a decision, your dream home may have already been sold!

Cheers!

Get in the mood!

Got the blues? Weather not to in your favor when trying to sell your property? Not to worry! Get the mood going with the weather. Of course selling a house is much easier when the sun is shining, but the rain can create a wonderful ambiance for mood as well. Gloomy weather calls for warmth, candles and musky scents. Use these to give a setting to your home, creating a cozy comfort. Another little trick, bake some cookies, the sent of comfort food will surely be appreciated and your prospective buyers will surely enjoy fresh home baked cookies!

Enjoy!

Curb appeal

I am sure that you have walked in your neighborhood and said to yourself '' wow I love the exterior of that house''. Having curb appeal is one of the easiest ways to draw attention to your home and make it visually more sell-able and attractive to potential clients. Investing a little money to have windows cleaned , shutters and railings repainted can go a long way to make your home look great.

Summer is finally here, enhance the exterior with bright flowers, and if you don’t have a green thumb, get yourself down to the market where you can find flower arrangements in pots already set up for you. Its really easy!

Another tool for curb appeal, make sure everything is manicured, and that your lawn furniture doesn’t look like it’s a hand me down from your grandmother. You'll be surprised how impressed the buyers will be when they see that your home is so clean and tailored!

Happy planting!
